Married since 1977 and serving in ministry together for just as long, we’ve seen and experienced God do so much in our lives and in the lives of others to whom He has called us to minister, but a longing for something more began to stir in our hearts many years ago. It seemed impossible, uncomfortable, and “we had never done it like that before!” But God . . .

God gave us the push we needed to take the step of faith required and begin a brand new thing – a journey with Him we named Freedom River. There’s a passage of Scripture God gave us from the very beginning of this ministry: “But forget all that! It is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do a brand new thing! See? I have already begun. Do you not see it? I will make a new pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home. I will create rivers for them in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 That passage has continued to take on new meaning with every year Freedom River Ministries has been in existence, because God keeps stirring and moving and taking us to new places and new ideas of ministry – encouraging people to let go of what was, because it is nothing compared to the brand new thing God wants to do in them; to lay aside the limitations they’ve placed on themselves and God, because He’s bigger than that; and to grab hold of the promises and provisions that deny explanation, because God is still in the business of amazing us!

We are currently livestreaming messages on Sunday via Facebook, Rumble, and right here on our website; and small group meetings are held weekly in the home.
